On September 20th, Dalilah Nativi (Founder) and Valeria Rosa (Outreach Coordinator) hosted the first Riptide Fundraising stand at a local high school. The duo sold crochet sea animals created by Valeria herself as well as a number of tops, flowers, and other accessories.

The fundraiser was a great opportunity for our Riptide team to get involved with the community. With the help of Samantha Scarbro (Communications Director) Nativi also crafted Riptide information brochures to share with customers. Although the first event was small, it was an encouraging first step in building connections and a name for Riptide. "It was nice to get the word out and people were definitely interested," Rosa said.
